Baby, Baby, Baby, Oh

Most likely in a year or two, Kel and i would like to start a family. Now, as one who likes to be completely prepared, i have decided that i should start reading books about pregnancy, childbirth, babies, toddlers, children, teenagers etc. !!! even though i know that no matter how prepared you think you are, you will never be completely prepared. I think i said the word “prepared” way too many times in that sentence however it’s because i want to be prepared! It will make me feel better even if all i read is for naught.

Anyway the point of this post is to inquire if anyone has any recommendations on books that they have found helpful? If so I’d love to hear them.

My list has actually already started due to a blog post by Caran of Grow. Cook. Eat. Share. which you can read here. Her suggestions were:

  • Good and Angry by Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller
  • The 5 Love Languages of Children by Gary Chapman and Ross Campbell
  • Grace Based Parenting by Dr. Tim Kimmel

So hit me with your best books!
